Klaus Seibel, born 1959, married, three grown-up, wonderful children.
I studied theology and worked as a manager in a software company. Since 2014, I have been a full-time writer. An adventurous path on which I have experienced many exciting things. In 2009, I won the Frankfurter Neue Presse crime fiction award and have been ranked #1 in many stores in their respective genres. My books have been recommended on the radio, in well-known magazines and by bestselling authors. With more than half a million e-books, books and audio books sold (in German), I am one of the most successful independent authors in Germany. I am very happy that I can make a living from writing, because so much is developing in our world that tempts me to write exciting stories.
I’ve written a lot about AI, but now AI is no longer a future, it’s part of our reality. I never thought I would live to see AIs, but now they are no longer fiction. This gives me the opportunity to try them out, which I am very excited about. This is the start of a new adventure for me, one that I’m very excited about. And for you, it creates the opportunity to read my stories in your language.
I have chosen the best AIs I have found for my translations: DeepL and ChatGPT. There are still some bugs, but the AIs are improving fast. And the reactions of first readers show me that the translations can be fun already. I wish the same for you when you read my stories. Please forgive still existing mistakes and smile about unfamiliar expressions.
